Green Beans w/ Red Potatoes

Fresh or frozen green beans

8-10 red potatoes, cut up into chunks (skin on or off, as desired)

Ham, bacon, salt pork fat, or ham hock for seasoning

Sea salt

Pepper

  1. Place beans, potatoes, and seasoning meat in large pot
  2. Bring to a boil and skim off scum
  3. Cook on medium-low heat for 1-2 hours
  4. Add salt and pepper to taste
