Fresh or frozen green beans
1 onion, chopped
2-3 cloves garlic, crushed
Olive oil/ butter
- Steam green beans lightly until just tender (a stainless steel strainer fitted over a large pot of boiling water with a lid on top works great for this, if you don’t have a steamer)
- Melt butter & olive oil together in a skillet. Add onion and green beans.
- Saute until onions are just tender, then add garlic and saute for a few more minutes.
